RENE GONZALEZ

CEO/President

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Minor in Business Management from Texas State University in 1988, Rene went straight into Commercial General Contracting. With 34 years of experience, Rene spent 18 of those years in executive management and operations, including being the Subject Matter Expert on multi-billion dollar programs for quality process improvement. Eight of those years, Rene owned and operated a construction manufacturing company, where he utilized LGS (light-gauge steel) for innovative building solutions.

Rene took his experience and founded E3 Development, LLC in 2016. With his expertise in commercial general contracting, he now focuses on development with his expertise in project management and innovative processes.

When not working, Rene enjoys relaxing with family, learning new skills and hiking the great outdoors.

SHERRY GONZALEZ

Vice President of Marketing

Sherry cofounded E3 Development LLC with her husband, Rene in 2016.  From the beginning, her roles have evolved as the company has grown.  From raising capital to scheduling meetings with city officials, and everything in between, she finds that her natural talents are best used in marketing and design.  Sherry has also been an integral part in working with architects on creative floorplans and choosing exterior and interior finishes on previous projects and concept designs on future projects in the pipeline.

Sherry has enjoyed a healthy and fit lifestyle all her adult life, enjoying weight training the most.  She also loves hiking in state and national parks with her husband and two dogs, and now often joined by her son and granddaughter.
